Summary

Abstract: The USFWS is working in partnership with NatureServe and Wildlife Diversity Committee of the Southeastern Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies to develop shared priorities for modeling of species distributions to support common decisions. In this project we will prioritize a suite of at-risk species and regional species of greatest conservation need. For those species we will collect available models, assess their quality for supporting decisions using a recently published rubric, and select a subset of species for developing new & improved models to support conservation decisions & actions.
