These data include the ambrosia beetle (Coleoptera: Scolytinae) species that were reared from bolts (tree stem sections) infected with Rapid ʻŌhiʻa Death on Hawaiʻi Island from 2018-2019. These data were used to determine species, number of individuals reared, height, and elevation in which these beetles live.

These data were used to determine species, number of individuals reared, height, and elevation in which these beetles live.
Data were collected to understand the ambrosia beetle communities in Rapid ʻŌhiʻa Death (ROD) infected Metrosideros polymorpha (ʻōhiʻa) trees on Hawaiʻi Island. These data will better inform ROD management decisions.
