Summary
The dataset is composed of three data tables containing information from electrofishing and pebble count surveys conducted in tributaries to the Mohawk River in central and eastern New York during 2019. The first table contains information on the sampled reaches, the second table contains fish collection data, and the third table contains pebble count data.

Data were collected to assess fish communities and estimate population size and biomass for each species at each sampling site. This dataset will serve as a baseline that will be used in the future to evaluate the ecological impacts of an invasive fish, the round goby. Substrate data will be used to identify which stream habitats are most susceptible to round goby colonization.
