Album caption: Main Tanana and Batsulneta Copper River Pass, from point 75 E. of Nabesna on N. slope Nutzotin Mtns. Looking N. 50 de. W. Aug. 23. (From E. side bluff, 150 ft. above creek. No similarity of topography, surely drift. Extending from pass down Nabesna and that N. of Nutzotin Range, between Nabesna and Chusana. Note also through center of pass the mesa or base level plateau sloping S. into the Copper, denoting that drainage which now flows N. into the Nabesna and Tanna formerly flowed southward into the Copper.)
