This dataset is intended to assess trends and percent change per year (PCPY) in mangrove swamp acreage with available sampling data. Assessments (condition) was classified depending on the following follow thresholds for PCPY: <= -1.0% - “Decreasing” > -1.0 & < 0.0% - “Stable (-)” = 0.0% - “Stable (No Change)” > 0.0 & < 1.0% - “Stable (+)” >= 1.0% - “Increasing” A +/- 0.5% margin of error was applied to the percent changes in order to capture any potential habitat classification mapping errors.
Summary
This dataset is intended to assess trends and percent change per year (PCPY) in mangrove swamp acreage with available sampling data. Assessments (condition) was classified depending on the following follow thresholds for PCPY:
<= -1.0% - “Decreasing”
> -1.0 & < 0.0% - “Stable (-)”
= 0.0% - “Stable (No Change)”
> 0.0 & < 1.0% - “Stable (+)”
>= 1.0% - “Increasing”
A +/- 0.5% margin of error was applied to the percent changes in order to capture any potential habitat classification mapping errors.

Purpose
This dataset is part of the Florida Landscape Conservation project. The project seeks to better understand the trends of indicators within prioritized conservation assets (or habitats). The trends and analysis carried by the project will be used to aid in informing management and conservation actions at, both, the broader and detailed spatial scales.
