Denver West Stream Sediment Samples

Summary

This collection contains 89 samples of fine-grained stream sediment collected throughout the Denver West 1:100,000 quadrangle in 1994 by a USGS team to study the concentration and distribution of uranium in surface waters and stream sediments. This research is described in Scientific Investigations Report 2007-5246 (Zielinski et al., 2008). Samples are stored in cardboard tubes in plastic bins and cardboard boxes on one wood pallet.
