Each of the five tab-delimited text files can be opened with any text editor or Microsoft Excel. To open the WDM file user needs to install the utility described in the section "Related External Resources" on this page. Each file can be downloaded from this page.

Purpose

The five data sets in this database may be used as input to the Hydrological Simulation Program-FORTRAN (HSPF) model or other similar rainfall-runoff model for simulating streamflow in DuPage County and nearby areas in northeastern Illinois. This database is available to the public and other stakeholders for doing similar simulations or meteorological analyses.

Although this information product, for the most part, is in the public domain, it may contain copyrighted materials if noted in the text.
