Summary
This dataset provides computed remotely-sensed streamflows (RSQ) at river reaches of selected rivers in Alaska. We used the relation between water-surface elevation data derived from satellite altimetry and dynamic surface water extent data derived from LANDSAT and Sentinel imagery data with the Modified Optimized Manning Method Algorithm (MOMMA) to compute remotely sensed streamflows. Data are organized in ZIP packages named for each river reach. Reach-specific details are provided in a README file included in each river reach ZIP package. Depending on the input data available for specific reaches, we used different workflows to estimate river reach width and process the data from river reaches. Each workflow is detailed in its own [...]
Each workflow is detailed in its own metadata record (denoted in the filenames: HLS, SatTRAX, DSWE). The data filenames indicate which workflow was used and which metadata record is applicable.
All three metadata records are provided for download in: "METADATA_DOWNLOAD.zip".

Purpose
The relations between satellite altimetry water-surface elevations (stage) and computed flows were used to derive stage-discharge relations for each river reach to support development of methods to estimate streamflow using satellite data (RSQ). River discharge is computed from June 1 to September 30.
