The data represents a subsection of data previously stored in the U.S. Geological Survey's GEOTHERM computer resources database. GEOTHERM was in use from 1977 - 1983 (United States Geological Survey, 1983; Swanson, 1977). Purpose

These data were digitized as part of a project designed to transfer data stored in PDF files to machine-readable formats. The original purpose was to compile and release to the public chemical data for Oregon's thermal waters, as no compilation existed at the time.
