Purpose

This data release presents data to answer two central questions about the fuel contamination at the Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility, O‘ahu, Hawai‘i. These are 1) the contaminant source locations and 2) indicators of the subsurface migration pathways. These data will be used to understand the locations of residual bodies of fuel or light nonaqueous phase liquids (LNAPL) below the tanks and tunnels. The direction of groundwater flow and the dispersion of dissolved partial hydrocarbon oxidation products that migrate away from the facility.
