Purpose

These results are part of an ongoing study on the temporal variation in chemistry of the containment pond at Pinyon Plain Mine (formerly Canyon Uranium Mine), near Tusayan, Arizona USA. Results are reflective of pond conditions at the time of collection. Note that Canyon Mine was renamed Pinyon Plain Mine in 2020. Target species are benthic invertebrates, but incidentally-collected juvenile vertebrates (e.g., Order Anura) are included in the samples.
