Purpose
BLMs Sagebrush Focal Areas (SFAs) encompass approximately 10 million acres of sagebrush ecosystems within federal lands in Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Wyoming. Sagebrush ecosystems support over 350 species of plants and animals including sage-grouse; a species that continues to garner a high-level of conservation concern. We quantified the relative abundance of sage-grouse populations within SFAs.
