eDNA Standard Operating Procedures, Protocols and Guidance

Summary

This project aims at building capacity within the FWS to apply eDNA sampling protocols and to understand the proper use and interpretation of eDNA results. As part of this effort, Washington State University scientists working jointly with FWS staff will design and deliver trainings, protocols, and written guidance to support FWS in capacity building in the agency. Furthermore, as needed, the project will develop eDNA assays for priority species.
