This dataset describes Native American Ceded Tribal lands in Washington State. Boundary lines have been digitized from a variety of digital data sources including 1:100,000 streams for boundaries described in treaties as following a stream or river, 1:24k Water Resource Inventory Areas (WRIA), Watershed Administrative Unit (WAU) and Hydrologic Unit Code (HUC) boundaries for boundaries referred to in treaties as 'divide', 'summit' or 'between the waters of', 1:100,000 Major Public Lands (for current reservation areas), 10 meter DEM and 7.5 minute USGS digital Quad maps (to define ridgelines and 'divide' where WRIA, WAU or HUC boundaries don't exist) and NAIP orthophoto imagery (to get a feel for what a questionable...

ASTER is capable of collecting in-track stereo using nadir- and aft-looking near infrared cameras. Since 2001, these stereo pairs have been used to produce single-scene (60- x 60-kilomenter (km)) digital elevation models (DEM) having vertical (root-mean-squared-error) accuracies generally between 10- and 25-meters (m). The methodology used by Japan's Sensor Information Laboratory Corporation (SILC) to produce the ASTER GDEM involves automated processing of the entire ASTER Level-1A archive. TEM_50K contains Terrestrial Ecosystem Mapping (TEM) polygons with key and amalgamated (concatenated) attributes derived from the RISC (Resource Inventory Standards Committee) standard attributes completed at a scale of 1:50,000 or smaller (i.e. 1:100,000). TEM divides the landscape into units according to a variety of ecological features including climate, physiography, surficial material, bedrock geology, soils and vegetation. TEM methods include manual air photo interpretation supported by selective field checking. NAIP horizontal accuracy specifications - From 2003 to 2004 the specifications were as follows: 1-meter Ground Sample Distance (GSD) imagery was to match within 3-meters, and 2-meter GSD to match within 20 meters of reference imagery. For 2005 the 1-meter GSD specification was changed to 5 meters matching to reference imagery. In 2006, all states used the same specifications as 2005 except for Utah, which required a match of +/- 6 meters to true ground. Planimetric positional data represents a structuring of digitally scanned National Topographic Series mapsheet layers. Elevation data was created thorugh interpolation and extrapolation from the scanned contour layer. DATA SOURCE SIZE : 84 sheets GEO COVERAGE : Full coverage of province. Base information originates from digital scanning and vectorizing of federal 1:250,000 NTS lithographic layers of published mapsheets. DEM was created through a process of interpolation/extrapolation from original contours and the manual introduction of elevation points from hardcopy. The National Road Network (NRN) product contains quality geospatial data (current, accurate, consistent and maintained) of Canadian road phenomena.
