These data contain concentrations of tetrachloroethylene in shallow groundwater samples collected in 2015 by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). These data are a subset of all the groundwater at the site. Samples were collected using direct-push technology. Only samples collected within the study area on 1 of the 10 sampling periods discussed in the journal article are included in this data set. In order to protect personally identifiable information (PII), all data collected by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency do not contain spatial information. Monthly Aquaculture and Irrigation Water-Use Estimates for the Mississippi Alluvial Plain, 1999-2017
These monthly water-use rasters estimate the total amount of groundwater used for aquaculture and irrigation purposes within the Mississippi Alluvial Plain during the growing season (April-October). This dataset contains 133 monthly water-use rasters that are totals of 6 different categories: aquaculture, cotton, corn, rice, soybeans, and all other crops. Units are in cubic meters per square mile. Aquaculture and irrigation water-use estimates are included in this data release in two different formats: georeferenced TIFFs (GeoTIFFs) for simple viewing and geospatial operations and a network common data form (NetCDF) for use in modeling applications and with each month as a separate raster array table.

This data release contains monthly and annual water-use estimates from the Aquaculture and Irrigation Water-Use Model version 1.0 for the Mississippi Alluvial Plain, April 1999 to October 2017. Aquaculture and irrigation estimates contained in this data release are representative of groundwater withdrawal for six different categories: aquaculture, cotton, corn, rice, soybeans, and all other crops. Contained in this data release are monthly and annual estimates by water-use category and monthly and annual total estimates. Monthly and annual totals are a summation of water use for aquaculture, cotton, corn, rice, soybeans, and all other crops, by month and by year. Also contained in this data release are lands permitted...

These annual water-use rasters estimate the total amount of groundwater used for aquaculture and irrigation purposes within the Mississippi Alluvial Plain. This dataset contains 114 annual water-use rasters for 6 different categories: aquaculture, cotton, corn, rice, soybeans, and all other crops. Units are in cubic meters per square mile.
This dataset contains a zipped file of 4 files that contain measurements of total groundwater used in all permitted wells for aquaculture and irrigation purposes in the Mississippi Delta for each year from 2014 to 2017. The files in this dataset are measurements provided by the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality and were made using totalizing flowmeters installed on wells and reported to the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality voluntarily.
These water-use estimates represent the total amount of groundwater used for aquaculture and irrigation purposes within the Mississippi Alluvial Plain during each water year (October 1 - September 30). These totals are a summation of water use for aquaculture, cotton, corn, rice, soybeans, and all other crops for water years 2000 to 2017. Units are in cubic meters per square mile. This dataset is formatted as a NetCDF file, with each water year as a separate raster array table, and intended for modeling applications.

These data are comprised of tables containing the total number of irrigated acres estimated from AIWUM version 1.0 within the Mississippi Delta as defined by Ladd and Travers (2019) and the average withdrawal rates used as input to AIWUM version 1.0 for 6 different categories: aquaculture, cotton, corn, rice, soybeans, and all other crops. Units for the irrigated acres and average withdrawal rates are acres and acre-feet per acre (or feet), respectively.
