These data were collected to characterize transport and fate of tritium in the unsaturated zone, plants, and air within, around, and distant from a low-level radioactive waste repository. The data support ongoing research to improve understanding of hydrologic and contaminant fate-and-transport processes, exposure pathways, and the environmental-health impacts of exposure to biota from different types and mixtures of contaminants in arid environments. All data were collected at the Amargosa Desert Research Site (https://www.usgs.gov/centers/nv-water/science/amargosa-desert-research-site).
