Summary

The dataset includes measurements of stream habitat, fish abundance of westslope cutthroat trout and bull trout, and species-specific measures of environmental DNA (eDNA) from within the water. The data covers multiple streams in western Montana.

Purpose

The data were collected to evaluate how species-specific measures of the amount of environmental DNA (eDNA) in the water correlates with species-specific measures of fish abundance at sites. In addition, habitat data were collected to evaluate how differences in habitat across sites accounted for the variability in eDNA at these sites.
