These five datasets document 1. physical and chemical soil properties for mesocosm soil that was collected from an experimental vegetated buffer strip plot; 2. Corrected final data for veterinary antibiotic target compound residues in treated soil mesocosms at various incubation times; 3. Corrected final data for all veterinary antibiotic target compound residues in untreated soil mesocosm blank samples at various incubation times; 4. Corrected final data for estrogen target compound residues in treated soil mesocosms at various incubation times; and 5. Corrected final data for all estrogen target compound residues in untreated soil mesocosm blank samples at various incubation times.

These data are comprised of measurements of elements (e.g., uranium, cobalt, nickel, copper, zinc, cadmium, lead, etc.), carbon, and particle size determination in Canyon Mine containment pond sediment samples collected in calendar year 2018. First posted: March 15, 2019 Revised: July 18, 2019
This data set documents results of analysis of samples collected from the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge during Summer 2019. Data tables include: 1. The numeric and alphanumeric identifiers for samples collected for this study and the dates these samples were collected; 2. Results data containing concentration values of individual polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon compounds in sediment, soil, and vegetation samples; 3. Results data containing concentration values of individual PAH compounds in water samples; 4. Results data containing concentration values of individual polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon compounds in quality-control sample blanks for all four sample matrices (sediment, soil, vegetation, water); 5. Bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis) were frequently photographed by wildlife cameras when they visited desert tortoise (Gopherus agassizii) burrows in the eastern San Bernardino Mountains near Palm Springs, California, USA (Mesa Windfarm). A previous study suggested that sheep may have been utilizing the excavated spoil material from burrows as a mineral lick. We aimed to test this possibility by collecting soil samples from the tortoise burrow spoil piles and undisturbed surface soil less than a meter away at two different desert tortoise study sites with bighorn sheep, the second site (Deep Canyon) in the Santa Rosa Mountains near Palm Desert, California. Both study sites are located in the Sonoran Desert ecosystem...
